Since I’ve been pretty weak about maintaining that he’s AU, though, I usually just accept it when people react to him as if he were more canon, so I haven’t had much of a chance to really strengthen my headcanons for him in my AU.

Dem sighed out heavily as he served another latte to some asshole customer in a suit. Really he hated his job. Working in a coffee shop had sounded like the perfect gig at first. Lots of artists, lots of caffeine. But he got lots of assholes in too. But what could you do? Had to work to get anywhere in the big city anymore. Smiling to himself to bring some cheer back to his face he started cleaning up after the last order he’d filled.
