*gives it a go then*)
Dem sighed out heavily as he served another latte to some asshole customer in a suit. Really he hated his job. Working in a coffee shop had sounded like the perfect gig at first. Lots of artists, lots of caffeine. But he got lots of assholes in too. But what could you do? Had to work to get anywhere in the big city anymore. Smiling to himself to bring some cheer back to his face he started cleaning up after the last order he’d filled.
Axel had always considered himself a people person, even if he didn’t particularly enjoy spending time with most of the people he ran into. So it took little effort for him to tell that the smile of the mohawked blond behind the counter of the coffee shop was covering a morning’s worth of annoyance. Finding that amusing, Axel chuckled and grinned as he got his turn to order. “Hey, Blondie. Vanilla mocha.”
Blinking the aqua toned eyes looked up from what he was doing to see a stunning red head in his midst. “Heya, sure thing one Vanil-moch coming right up man” He grinned and turned working at the coffee machines with the knack only someone that had been here a while would have. “Having a good morning?”
Axel leaned his elbow against the counter in front of him and shrugged. “More or less, yeah. No complaints. How about you? Working here must be an endless thrill of fun.” The sarcasm in his voice was obvious.
“Oh yeah a thrill a minuet” He laughed lightly and glanced over at him. “What do you do for a living?” He turned the machine off going about adding in stuff to make it more tasty.
He shrugged, smirking slightly. “Me? I’m just a lowly waiter at a less-than-reputabe little restaurant. Nothing exciting beyond the occasional stabbing in the alley outside.”
(Could always take it to a messenger like skype or aim or something so replies wouldn’t get eaten)
“Yea the city is like that sometimes. I usually make sure to ride home on well lit streets if I can help it. Wouldn’t want to get mugged.” He shuddered a bit and handed him the coffee smiling. “Demy, and you are?”
